The Opportunity

The RESP team at IG Wealth Management is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to join our ranks. The Process Management & Administration team provides essential administrative and servicing support across various business lines, including Mortgages, Insurance, IGFS, IGFS Nominee, and IGSI, as well as offering administrative processing and servicing support to IGM clients, Consultant Network, Planning Specialists, Regional Offices, and other departments.

As a Coordinator, you will have the chance to excel in your role by:

  • Delivering exceptional service to both external and internal clients. You will manage client accounts in both English and French, interpreting and analyzing documentation for the input and processing of various registered and non-registered investment products, ensuring requests are fulfilled in accordance with IG Wealth Management's policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Creating seamless experiences for our clients. You will provide support to internal departments and external clients for all client inquiries received, applying your business acumen and fostering a client-focused mindset.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization collaboratively. You will work alongside internal business partners to continuously enhance business processes.

To thrive in this position, you will possess:

  • Financial industry experience: 1-2 years of experience in the financial sector, coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Familiarity with back-office data processes, procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Fundserv, PlatformZero, TreX, SAS, and RBroker operating systems is preferred.
  • Relationship management skills: The ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with teams, peers, and business partners across the organization, both in-person and virtually. A high level of engagement, professionalism, and strong customer orientation is essential.
  • Results-oriented mindset: Detail-oriented with robust decision-making and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to self-development and continuous learning is important.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities: The ability to analyze problems and make decisions while considering regulatory environments.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
  • Planning and organizational skills: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills. The capacity to multitask and adapt to frequently changing priorities is crucial.
  • Educational background: A post-secondary degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. Industry-related courses, such as CSC and IFC, are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Availability: Candidates must be available to work shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime during weekdays and weekends. This is a hybrid role, and in-office expectations will evolve based on business needs.
