Job Summary

The Calibration Dataset Management Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the management of hybrid and engine controller calibration datasets to support vehicle development, milestones, and manufacturing. This will involve building development calibrations regularly for powertrain calibration teams to test during their development, while thoroughly documenting calibration changes and conducting calibration comparisons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calibration datasets to support vehicle development and manufacturing
  • Build development calibrations for powertrain calibration teams
  • Document calibration changes and conduct calibration comparisons
  • Support vehicle data capture, analysis, and issue management
  • Provide support to calibration teams for resolving system issues
  • Prepare calibration-related certification and running change documentation
  • Support calibration teams on a daily and weekly basis
  • Perform release DVP&Rs in vehicle to ensure validity of releases
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Automotive or similar industry, related to embedded control systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and utilize Microsoft programs effectively
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to balance work effectively on multiple issues
  • Action a disciplined test plan and verification process
  • Strong knowledge of Powertrain systems
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of Propulsion systems, including hybrids
  • Knowledge of calibration of engine, transmission, or hybrid propulsion systems
  • Knowledge of software development and releasing
