Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering telephone calls, responding to electronic enquiries, and opening and distributing mail and other materials.
  • Office Management: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, direct and control daily operations, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staff Management: Motivate staff, train staff, and establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication: Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay telephone calls and messages, and respond to employee questions and complaints.
  • Record Keeping: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Office Services: Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
