About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Operations Specialist to join our team at trajectorE. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the commissioning and ramp-up of our mineral processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform processing operations tasks during commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up of mineral processing equipment.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect and correct equipment malfunctions, ensuring plant systems are operating normally.
  • Review process data and report any deviations to plant management to minimize plant delays and breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and work with engineering and maintenance to find effective solutions.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Ensure new operators are well-trained and have the skills and knowledge they need to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Coach operators in carrying out their duties.
  • Motivate individuals and solve problems to achieve results.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection in the workplace.
  • Comply with legislation and regulations concerning safety, employment, and protection of the environment.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in process operations of a mineral or chemical processing facility.
  • Experience with mineral processing processes and systems is a must.
  • Mill experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire for efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
