Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at ECONO GAS. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure seamless operations and maximum productivity.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Returns: Make informed decisions regarding merchandise returns, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote sales of our products and services.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is properly stored and rotated.
- Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the activities of workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Ensure accurate and timely payment of staff wages and benefits.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Gas bar environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that require attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, team player, and ability to multitask.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
