Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales workers, apprentices, and design team members to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers: Effectively allocate tasks and duties to ensure seamless operations and maximum productivity.
  • Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our growing business.
  • Authorize Returns: Make informed decisions regarding merchandise returns and exchanges.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of our products.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the activities of workers and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee Payroll: Administer payroll, including processing payments and managing employee benefits.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Gas bar environment.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, team player, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, ability to multitask.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
