Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small sales team and spearheading strategic initiatives to drive sales growth in the custom manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned territory
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's short and long-term goals
  • Take a lead role in mentoring, developing, and guiding the sales team to achieve personal and company sales goals
  • Oversee the sales budget and allocation of resources to ensure ROI is maximized
  • Set, monitor, and work towards sales targets and KPIs to ensure consistent growth
  • Continually monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to help shape sales strategies
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of territory sales experience from custom manufacturing industry
  • A fully developed network in regard to aviation and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or equipment leasing
  • Sales leadership experience (supervising or managing a sales team)
  • Accountability for sales budget
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills
  • Computer proficiency (Word and Excel), CRM, and ERP
  • Initiative; self-directed, strong work ethic; a passion for sales and customer service
