We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Fabricator to join our team at SM Custom Kitchen Cabinet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating high-quality cabinets and furniture components.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- Finishing and Sanding: Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts to ensure a smooth finish.
- Machining and Operating: Set up and operate finishing machines or finish furniture by hand to achieve the desired finish.
- Quality Control: Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean, polish, and wax furniture to maintain a high level of quality and appearance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Work Environment: Noisy, dusty, hot.
- Work Setting: Furniture manufacturing company.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
