About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at SM Custom Kitchen Cabinet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing high-quality cabinets and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and finish wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles
  • Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts
  • Set up and operate finishing machines or finish furniture by hand
  • Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate assembly
  • Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards
Work Environment

Our workshop is a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be working in a team to meet production deadlines and deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and hot environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Flexibility, organized, and reliable
