About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at 1342127 Ontario Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden products, including cabinets, furniture, and other woodwork items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
  • Parts Specialization: Work with carpentry/woodworking machinery and specialize in cabinets, furniture, and furniture and cabinet remodeling.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
