We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Fabricator to join our team at SM Custom Kitchen Cabinet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating high-quality cabinets and furniture components.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- Finishing and Quality Control: Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts, and apply finishes to specified color.
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate finishing machines or finish furniture by hand.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance: Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
Our production environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty area.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
We offer a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, with overtime required as needed.
Language and CommunicationThe primary language of communication is English.
