About the Role

The Event Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events at our venue. This involves setting up and tearing down the venue, moving and placing equipment and decorations, and maintaining the organization and upkeep of the event space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the venue according to the event plan and client requests
  • Lift and move heavy and light objects in a safe and timely manner
  • Tear down the venue after an event and ensure it is clear and maintained to O&B standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue
  • Comply with and act in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Receive and sign off on materials and shipments from clients and couriers
  • Meet, greet, and escort clients from the loading dock

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a variable workload
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to listen and follow clear directions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or occasional overnight shifts
  • Dependable and goal-oriented
