Director, Commercial Banking Services

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Commercial Banking Services to join our team at Meridian Credit Union. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for building and developing a portfolio of large commercial accounts, managing a diverse portfolio, and driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of the largest and most complex commercial accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and driving sales growth.
- Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit analysis and provide recommendations on complex credit applications.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of commercial banking professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful business outcomes.
- Education: University degree in Business or Finance or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial lending experience in sales/service and managing a diverse portfolio in a commercial banking environment.
- Skills: Strong sales management skills, ability to measure and monitor sales plans, targets, pipeline, and activities. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and in a business development capacity within the community.
