Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Change Management: Monitor and respond to regulatory changes, ensuring that our business operations are compliant with new requirements.
  • Compliance Risk Assessments: Lead the execution of compliance risk assessments, identifying and mitigating potential risks to our business.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Oversee the management of compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Data Governance: Oversee and support key elements of compliance data governance, ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and secure.
  • Compliance Administration: Assist with ongoing compliance administrative procedures, including regulatory filings and registrations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (required), Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized Canadian law school (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial services compliance (required), with knowledge and experience in the operation of an international financial institution.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and excellent relationship-building skills.
