About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Town and Country Motel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our premises to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Coordinate Maintenance and Repairs: Arrange for necessary maintenance and repairs to be carried out, including painting, repairs, and replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Support Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees, helping them to integrate into our team and access relevant training and resources.
  • Support Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
  • Work Schedules and Coordination: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and that staff are working efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
