About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Town and Country Motel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities
    • Oversee the daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards are met
    • Coordinate with cleaning staff to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement
    • Implement corrective actions to address any issues or concerns
  • Recommend and Arrange for Additional Services
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations
    • Coordinate with external vendors to arrange for necessary services
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees in recognizing their foreign credentials
    • Develop and implement diversity and cross-cultural training programs to promote a welcoming work environment
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers
    • Develop and implement cultural competency training programs to promote a welcoming work environment

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language
