About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team at Town and Country Motel. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities
    • Oversee the daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Coordinate with cleaning staff to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
    • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees in recognizing their foreign credentials.
    • Develop and deliver diversity and cross-cultural training programs to foster a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers.
    • Develop and deliver cultural competency training and awareness programs to promote a welcoming work environment.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
