Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Queen\u0027s University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior management and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to senior management, including typing and proofreading correspondence, scheduling appointments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, and coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization\u0027s goals.
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, and advise senior management on administrative matters.
  • Financial Management: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor safety conditions and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor\u0027s degree
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role
