We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Booking Clerk to join our team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Ambulatory Care team, you will be responsible for booking patient appointments, registering patients for the Total Joint Assessment Centre, and ensuring seamless communication with colleagues, staff, volunteers, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Record and assign patient bookings, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling
- Communicate effectively with various departments and staff members to coordinate patient care
- Prepare and distribute daily lists, including fax transmissions of medical records
- Update patient information and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Cerner registration and scheduling systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
