Ambulatory Physiotherapist Opportunity

Baycrest Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Ambulatory Programs team on a casual basis.

This role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including those with complex geriatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physiotherapist in this position, you will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing care plans, and providing treatment interventions to support the recovery and well-being of our clients.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring physiotherapy and physiotherapy assistant students, as well as collaborating with the inter-professional team to implement client-focused care plans and coordinate discharge planning.

Qualifications for this role include licensure in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and experience working with geriatric populations with multiple medical conditions and/or cognitive impairment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop care plans for clients with complex conditions
  • Provide treatment interventions to support client recovery and well-being
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring physiotherapy and physiotherapy assistant students
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to implement client-focused care plans and coordinate discharge planning
  • Develop and implement evidence-based programs to support client care

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Experience working with geriatric populations with multiple medical conditions and/or cognitive impairment
  • Confirmed status as ADP authorizer required
