Assistant General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice and support to our business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal counsel and support to our business teams on a wide range of matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve business objectives and mitigate risks.
- Manage and supervise a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address legal issues and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, and provide guidance on their impact on our business.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a lawyer, with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, including SEC regulations and document preparation, litigation, anti-trust laws, and contract negotiation and preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
