Business Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Advisor to join our team at Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum. As a Business Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, specifically third sector organisations, under our Outset brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, focusing on third sector organisations.
  • Work in partnership with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub and Cornwall Council's Good Growth Programme.
  • Provide a friendly and supportive service to help individuals gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to sustain or grow a business.
  • Engage with groups and individuals, conveying knowledge effectively through sessions, workshops, and 1:1 sessions delivered online and face-to-face.

Requirements:

  • Strong business, third sector, and functional expertise.
  • Proven ability to engage groups and individuals and convey knowledge effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
