About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisor to join our team at Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum. As a Business Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, specifically third sector organisations, under our Outset brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, focusing on third sector organisations, including social enterprises, community interest companies, voluntary and charitable organisations.
  • Work in partnership with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub and Cornwall Council's Good Growth Programme to provide a friendly and supportive service to help individuals gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to sustain or grow a business.
  • Conduct business, third sector, and functional expertise to a range of clients, alongside proven abilities in engaging groups and individuals, and conveying knowledge effectively through a range of sessions and workshops and 1:1 sessions delivered both online and face to face.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
