About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisor to join our team at Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum. As a Business Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, specifically third sector organisations including social enterprises, community interest companies, voluntary and charitable organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver support to individuals and businesses in Cornwall, providing guidance on business growth and development.
  • Work closely with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub and Cornwall Council's Good Growth Programme to deliver business support services.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to help individuals gain the skills and knowledge they need to sustain or grow a business.
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients, helping them to overcome business challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that business support services are tailored to meet the needs of the local community.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong business and third sector expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
