Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at CARSTAR VEHICLE RELOCATION SERVICES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle operator work, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to urgent calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Logistics: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in dispatch management service software, mapping and data visualization software, database software, and MS Windows.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, physical demands, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
