Your Opportunity
Our Sarnia office is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team as a Financial Reporting Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing non-assurance engagements for private clients to ensure compliance with relevant professional standards and Firm policies.
- Effectively planning, supervising, and executing non-assurance engagements.
- Supervising the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
- Developing a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients.
- Addressing client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and utilizing strong technical skills and accounting experience.
- Applying industry knowledge in anticipating, identifying, and addressing issues relevant to the client's business.

Your Experience and Education
We are seeking a candidate with:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ years at the management level.
- Completion of your CPA is preferred, but not required.
- Related experience and good working knowledge in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and QuickBooks Online.
- A strong track record of leadership, employee engagement, and client satisfaction.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
