Position Overview

The Janitorial Service Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within various facilities. This position involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean furniture to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Carpet and Upholstery Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure thorough cleanliness.
  • Restroom and Kitchen Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to promote hygiene.
  • Operating Room Cleaning: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas to maintain health standards.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators regularly.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain cleanliness.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean environment.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
