Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Landmark Building Maintenance Corporation. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our janitorial staff and ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Janitorial Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of janitorial staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Janitorial Activities: Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the janitorial staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist Janitorial Staff: Provide support and guidance to janitorial staff as needed to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the janitorial staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Supervise Janitorial Staff: Supervise and evaluate the performance of the janitorial staff to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a janitorial or cleaning services role.
  • Work Setting: This role will be based in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload.
  • Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will possess excellent client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including cleaning service company facilities.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and to lift heavy objects.
