About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative with First Nations Bank of Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional financial services to our customers in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for assisting customers with various financial activities, such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and cashing cheques. You will also have the opportunity to help customers identify their financial needs and provide them with tailored solutions through our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in a fast-paced retail banking environment.
- Assist customers with financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments.
- Help customers identify their financial needs and provide them with suitable solutions through our products and services.
- Work collaboratively with the Retail Banking team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Maintain accurate records and perform duties with a high level of accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
