Position Overview:

We are in search of qualified candidates for the role of Structural Engineer/Project Manager. This position entails overseeing the completion of structural engineering design, investigation, and management of multiple projects with varying scopes and complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough structural assessments of existing buildings and structures Prepare detailed written condition and evaluation reports Manage engineering design tasks and oversee projects of diverse scope and complexity Collaborate on intricate engineering design projects alongside senior engineers Employ a variety of standard engineering methodologies and techniques to address challenges Review structural engineering shop drawings and calculations in the office Perform field inspections related to structural construction (e.g., reinforcing steel) Utilize design software for structural engineering in collaboration with senior engineers Propose technological enhancements to the department Support other engineers in executing technical tasks that require precision in calculations and adherence to established testing, analysis, design, or computation methods Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Engage with clients as necessary Undertake project management and coordination responsibilities Execute other assigned duties and tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Licensed as a Professional Engineer Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience in a consulting engineering or construction engineering setting, managing structural investigation and restoration projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills in English Commitment to business integrity and professionalism Valid Driver's License.
