Position Overview:

We are in search of qualified candidates for the role of Structural Engineer/Project Manager.

This role entails the successful execution of structural engineering design, investigation, and management of multiple projects with varying scopes and complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct structural assessments of existing buildings and structures Prepare detailed condition and evaluation reports Execute engineering design tasks and manage projects of diverse scope and complexity Collaborate on complex engineering design projects alongside senior Engineers Employ a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques to address challenges Review structural engineering shop drawings and calculations in the office Perform field inspections of construction related to structural elements (e.g., reinforcing steel) Utilize design software for structural design in collaboration with senior Engineers Propose technological enhancements to the department Assist fellow engineers in executing technical tasks that require precision in calculations, thoroughness of data, and adherence to established testing, analysis, design, or computation methods Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Engage with clients as necessary Undertake project management and coordination responsibilities Fulfill other assigned duties and tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Licensed as a Professional Engineer Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. Professional background in a consulting engineering or construction engineering setting managing structural investigation and restoration projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Capability to lead junior engineers and technicians Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills in English Commitment to business integrity and professionalism Valid Driver's License.
