About the Role

As a Child and Youth Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering children and youth within our community. You'll design and lead engaging programs that foster their social, emotional, and cultural growth. Your expertise in case management will guide youth facing challenges, providing them with the support they need to thrive.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement culturally relevant recreational, social, and educational programs for children and youth.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can engage in positive activities and develop essential life skills.
  • Offer case management services, including crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and individual support tailored to each child's needs.
  • Monitor the progress of children and youth, ensuring their well-being and cultural considerations are addressed.
  • Connect children and youth with community resources and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to supporting youth development.
