We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Child and Youth Care Professionals to join our team at North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS). As a Child and Youth Care Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and safety of children, youth, and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to children and youth in our community-based live-in program, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and youth, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in child and youth care.
- Diploma or degree in a related field, such as Social Services, Human Services, or Child and Youth Care.
- Experience working with children, youth, and families, preferably in a child and youth care setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and overnights, as required.
- Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle.
- A competitive hourly rate of $37.06.
