Role Overview
Deliver comprehensive care on a full-time, part-time (respite), or emergency basis to children and adolescents. Accommodate placements that vary in duration, as some may last only a few days or weeks, while others could extend for several years, tailored to each child's and family's unique circumstances. Address the diverse needs of children and youth, including nutrition, education, medical attention, and a safe, nurturing home environment. Offer love, support, and stability to children throughout their time in your care. A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of those in need. Ability to collaborate effectively with Kunuwanimano's dynamic team. Flexibility in scheduling to ensure the needs of children and youth are consistently met. A desire to nurture and support any child or youth with optimism, patience, and consistency. Willingness to work in partnership with First Nations for the benefit of children and youth. An appreciation for cultural practices and a commitment to enabling children and youth to engage in their traditions.
