About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2685645 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • Experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling. A basic security clearance and a criminal record check will be required.
