Project Coordinator: Handle with Care

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Development Association of PEI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the Handle with Care program. This is a full-time position that will commence in August 2024 and will be based in [location].

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and analyze program data, facilitator data, and promotional data.
  2. Present data in an interim and final report to funders.
  3. Develop an annual Handle with Care program calendar.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with community partners.
  5. Work closely with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators.
  6. Coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development.
  7. Maintain facilitator databases.
  8. Chair and report to the Handle with Care Advisory Committee.
  9. Ensure adherence to firm deadlines and meet deliverables outlined in contractual agreements with funders.
  10. Review and approve grant applications and payments to programs.
  11. Review and approve final reports submitted by recipients.
  12. Stay up-to-date on child development and science of resiliency.
  13. Co-facilitate four programs per fiscal year.

Requirements:

  1. A diploma or degree related to working with children and families.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  3. A valid driver's license.
  4. A clear criminal record check.
  5. Project management experience.
  6. Handle with Care facilitation experience (an asset).
