Job Title: Project Coordinator: Handle with Care

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Development Association of PEI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the Handle with Care program. This is a full-time position that will require evening and weekend work, as well as travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Handle with Care program, ensuring its integrity and alignment with the ECDA's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators to achieve program goals.
  • Collect and analyze program data, presenting findings in interim and final reports to funders.
  • Develop relationships with community partners and coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development.
  • Manage facilitator databases and chair the Handle with Care Advisory Committee.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and deliverables outlined in contractual agreements with funders.
  • Review and approve grant applications and payments to programs, as well as final reports submitted by recipients.
  • Stay up-to-date on child development and science of resiliency.
  • Co-facilitate four programs per fiscal year.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a field related to working with children and families.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with children and families.
  • Valid driver's license and clear criminal record check.
  • Project management experience and Handle with Care facilitation (an asset).

Benefits:

  • Hourly wage range: $30.00 (commensurate with experience and education).
