Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Development Association of PEI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the Handle with Care program. This is a full-time position that will commence in August 2024 and will be based in [location].

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Handle with Care program and ensure its successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators to achieve program goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development.
  • Manage program data, including collection, analysis, and presentation of results.
  • Prepare and submit reports to funders.
  • Develop and maintain the Handle with Care program calendar.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and deliverables outlined in contractual agreements.
  • Review and approve grant applications and payments to programs.
  • Review and approve final reports submitted by recipients.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree related to working with children and families.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A clear criminal record check.
  • Project management experience.
  • Handle with Care facilitation experience (an asset).

Benefits:

  • Hourly wage range: $22.00 - $30.00 (commensurate with experience and education).
  • Full-time contract with possible 1-year extension.
  • Evening and weekend requirements.
  • Travel reimbursement with a travel stipend.
  • Benefits: Health and dental at 100% coverage by the ECDA, coverage for professional development, offered by the ECDA, two weeks' vacation, five personal days, ten sick days.
