Job Title: Project Coordinator: Handle with Care

The Early Childhood Development Association of PEI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the Handle with Care program. This is a full-time position commencing August 2024 until March 31, 2025, with a one-year contract and possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Handle with Care program, ensuring its integrity and alignment with the ECDA's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators to achieve program goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development.
  • Manage facilitator databases and maintain confidentiality.
  • Chair and report to the Handle with Care Advisory Committee.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Review and approve grant applications and payments to programs.
  • Co-facilitate four programs per fiscal year.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a field related to working with children and families.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  • Valid driver's license and clear criminal record check.
  • Project management experience and Handle with Care facilitation (an asset).
Benefits:
  • Hourly wage range: $22.00 - $30.00, commensurate with experience and education.
  • Full-time position with benefits, including health and dental coverage, professional development opportunities, and a travel stipend.
