Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at CB Canada. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the Accounting team and ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Controller in managing the Accounting team, including overseeing various accounting activities and collaborating with auditors to prepare tax filings.
  • Handle reporting requirements to external parties, including financial statements and other regulatory submissions.
  • Support team improvement initiatives and financial analyses, providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
  • Assist with yearend working papers and ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and yearend filings, with strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Experience with team management and leadership, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP solutions, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ethical, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
