Taggart Realty Management is actively looking for a Financial Operations Manager to assist the Controller in overseeing the financial activities of the managed properties. As a member of the Taggart Group of Companies, our focus lies in the acquisition, development, leasing, and management of various property types including retail, residential, office, and commercial spaces. The Financial Operations Manager will be tasked with supervising daily and month-end/year-end financial operations within the property management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of accounting professionals
- Examine financial reports and accompanying schedules
- Prepare annual financial reports
- Support property management and accounting software applications
- Troubleshoot daily operational issues
- Assist external service providers
- Identify and execute process enhancements
- Perform additional duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional experience
- CPA designation preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a multi-entity environment is advantageous
- Commitment to confidentiality
Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Manual dexterity is necessary
- Overtime may be required
