Regional Operations Coach

Reporting to the Director of Western Canada, the Regional Operations Coach will be tasked with overseeing and providing guidance to a network of optometry practices.

We are ideally looking for a candidate based in the Okanagan region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality patient experiences across a multi-unit environment that includes retail, manufacturing, and clinical services to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Preparing the organization for quality enhancement by advising on team dynamics, effective communication, meeting facilitation, and leadership development.
  • Delivering comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship to team members, utilizing company resources effectively. Provide timely, constructive feedback to foster improvement.
  • Evaluating financial performance data of practices and recommending strategies for enhancing retail operations and profitability.
  • Maintaining uniformity in campaigns and communications across various consumer engagement platforms, reinforcing the vision and brand initiatives of FYidoctors.
  • Guiding employees to recognize opportunities for continuous improvement within their practices, observing operations and suggesting actionable changes. Assist practices in data collection to evaluate the success of initiatives.
  • Supporting practices in planning and managing transitions by establishing objectives, strategizing, and problem-solving, while providing necessary tools and support during challenging times.
  • Driving strategic growth and revenue with a focused regional approach.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in a management role within a retail or hospitality environment across multiple locations.
  • A minimum of four years in a leadership capacity.
  • A diploma or degree in Business is preferred.
  • Exceptional coaching and personnel development skills; strong team-building and management capabilities.
  • Ability to establish clear objectives, create accountability, and foster a positive work atmosphere.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills; sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current optical theories and merchandise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region on a weekly basis.
