Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our receiving and warehouse departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systematically receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of packages and packing slips.
  • Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Perform stocking activities, including facing, hanging, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Assist with merchandise purges and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Conduct floor checks to ensure shelves are full, security tags are in place, and pricing and signage are accurate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move and handle boxes of merchandise.
  • Steel-toed work boots are required.
  • Ability to obtain a PAL license.
