Key Responsibilities- Accounts Receivable and Payable Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping, to support the financial operations team.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve any financial or administrative issues.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Public sector.
- Sage Accounting Software: Proficient in using Sage Accounting Software for financial management and record-keeping.
- MS Excel: Skilled in using MS Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
- Accurate: Ability to maintain accurate financial records and perform tasks with attention to detail.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Reliability: Dependable and responsible in performing tasks and meeting expectations.
