Job Summary:

The FT Receiver is a key member of our store operations team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of merchandise from the truck to the sales floor. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the receipt and processing of merchandise, including unloading trucks and transporting sorted and prepped merchandise to departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, including general maintenance work such as light bulb replacement and painting.
  • Prepares receiving area and organizes equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Responsible for setting up receiving area using recommended layout and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborates with team members to achieve business objectives and drives positive outcomes through objectives and measures.
  • Monitors progress and results, designs continuous feedback into work, and creates a sense of community in the team.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in retail management or related field preferred.
  • Experience in receiving area preferably from a retail industry.
  • Experience shipping and unloading merchandise.
