Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor involves overseeing the daily operations within a fast-paced dining environment. This position is essential for ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in food service management.
Work Environment
  • Conditions: The work environment is typically hot and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Setting: The position may involve various locations within the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
  • Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervision

This role involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

  • Demonstrated client focus and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
