As the Corporate Reporting Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a pivotal role in the accounting and consolidation processes for our Canadian operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end financial close process, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines and addressing any potential discrepancies.
  • Enhance the efficiency and precision of consolidation procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Manage corporate accounting functions, including payroll and treasury operations.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of balance sheets and income statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory documents, including note disclosures and materials for shareholders.
  • Support the certification processes for the CEO and CFO, aiding the internal audit team in control assessments.
  • Administer the OneStream platform, developing management and external financial reports.
  • Stay updated on new accounting standards and assess their implications.
  • Implement best practices across finance functions.
  • Prepare special reports and analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
  • Experience in public accounting is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Over 6 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role post-designation.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft D365, OneStream, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
