We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Manager to join our finance team at goeasy Ltd. As a key member of our corporate accounting group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the month-end financial statement close process, including consolidation, Canadian legal entity reporting, and management reporting.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of consolidation.
- Manage and ensure the timely and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
- Oversee corporate accounting, including payroll and treasury accounting.
- Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis.
- Coordinate interactions with external auditors to ensure support is provided and audit issues are resolved.
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory requirements, including note disclosures and shareholder materials.
- Assist in the CEO/CFO certification process, including supporting the internal audit team.
- Manage the OneStream platform, developing and maintaining management reports and external financial reports.
- Stay up-to-date with new accounting pronouncements and analyze their impact.
- Identify and implement best practices across finance functions.
- CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
- Experience in public accounting is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 6+ years of experience in finance, including recent experience in accounting and consolidation.
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft D365, OneStream, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides the ability to work three days onsite per week, between our Mississauga and downtown Toronto office.
