We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Manager to join our team at goeasy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the month-end financial statement close process, including consolidation, Canadian legal entity reporting, and management reporting. Your expertise will ensure that reporting deadlines are met and potential issues are resolved prior to closing the books.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of consolidation.
  • Manage and ensure the timely and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Oversee corporate accounting, including payroll and treasury accounting.
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis.
  • Coordinate interactions with external auditors to ensure support is provided and audit issues are resolved.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory requirements, including note disclosures and shareholder materials.
  • Support the CEO/CFO certification processes and internal audit team in control testing.
  • Manage the OneStream platform, developing management reports and external financial reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with new accounting pronouncements and analyze their impact.
  • Identify and implement best practices across finance functions.
Requirements
  • CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
  • Experience in public accounting is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in finance, including recent experience in accounting and consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft D365, OneStream, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
