Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Manager to join our finance team. As a key member of our accounting and consolidation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end financial statement close process, including consolidation, Canadian legal entity reporting, and management reporting.
  • Develop and implement procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of consolidation.
  • Manage and ensure the timely and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Manage corporate accounting, including payroll and treasury accounting.
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis.
  • Coordinate interactions with external auditors to ensure support is provided and audit issues are resolved.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory requirements, including note disclosures and shareholder materials.
  • Support the CEO/CFO certification processes, including internal audit control testing and identifying opportunities to improve controls.
  • Oversee the OneStream platform, managing and developing management reports and external financial reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with new accounting pronouncements and analyze their impact.
  • Identify and implement best practices across finance functions.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.

Requirements

  • CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
  • Experience in public accounting is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in finance, including recent experience in accounting and consolidation, with a minimum of 2 years of post-designation experience in a management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft D365, OneStream, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
